Jacob Klaus (20C), NRP, serves as the Program Director of the EMS Education Program at Emory University, where he leads the design and delivery of the program’s EMS curricula.

Jacob has been involved in EMS since 2016 when he first joined Emory University as a freshman. As an undergraduate student, he served in several leadership roles within the campus EMS system that focused on training, education, and supervision. These early experiences shaped his interest in EMS education and helped define his commitment to developing high quality training pathways for future clinicians. After graduating, he worked for multiple 911 EMS agencies in the Atlanta area and continues to remain clinically active as a paramedic.

Jacob graduated summa cum laude from Emory College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in Human Health. He is currently completing his master’s degree in Health Professions Education through Maastricht University in conjunction with New York University.
