Emory Emergency Medical Service

Emory Emergency Medical Service (EEMS) is a volunteer EMS organization, operated by students, with oversight from Emory’s Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response.

Emory EMS is now out of service for summer break.

Please call Emory Police Department at (404) 727-6111 or 911 for emergencies.

EMS will be back in service at the start of the fall semester.

History

Founded in 1992 as the Emory Rescue Squad, EEMS began as the vision of a small group of EMTs dedicated to enhancing emergency medical coverage for the Emory community.
