USPHS Disaster and Emergency Response Training Program

Emory University’s Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR) has partnered with the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) to design and develop a refresher skills training program for clinicians with a focus on disaster and emergency response. This training program delivers a blend of didactic materials provided through a learning management system and on-site scenario-based psychomotor skills validation provided to clinical personnel assigned to the USPHS Commissioned Corps.

CEPAR is coordinating the delivery of this training through a collaboration with subject matter experts from CEPAR, the school of Medicine’s department of Emergency Medicine, section of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine, the school of Nursing, and the school’s Emory Nursing Experience program.
