Apply to Volunteer with Emory EMS

If you are interested in volunteering with Emory EMS and currently hold—or will hold by the summer deadline—an EMT or AEMT license, you may apply through our application for individuals who completed their EMS education outside of Emory EMS.

The application cycle for Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 will open later in the spring and is typically due over the summer.

To help you prepare, here are the standard documentation requirements:

Resume or CV (maximum 1 page)
Copy of NREMT certification
Copy of Georgia Office of EMS and Trauma license. For more information, please visit: EMS Personnel Licensure
Copy of CPR/BLS certification
Copy of a valid U.S. driver’s license or state ID

Please note that application requirements, procedures, and deadlines are subject to change. Updated information will be posted on our website during the late spring semester once the application opens. However, if you plan to apply for the upcoming academic year, we strongly recommend having all the required documentation prepared before July.
